Green Octo (グリーンオクト) is an enemy from Thunder Force IV.

Details

Green Octo appears as a multi-segmented hovercraft-like machine. It moves above the water and must be hit from behind, attacking by constantly sending Vickies at the player. When only its last segment is left it will begin hovering, launching homing missiles and tracking down the player with a red laser; if the player passes through the red laser it will fire a barrage of lasers.

Green Octo and Versus are the only two mid-bosses in Thunder Force IV that are mandatory to kill.
