Haides is the fourth stage from Thunder Force III.
Details
Haides is one of the planets from the ORN System, being composed of rock formations and full of caverns. The player must constantly watch out for the terrain in this level, as at various points the floor will move upwards, often trapping the player. The player must also watch for falling rocks and rock pillars which rotate in a clockwise motion. After defeating the midboss is a short high-speed sequence.
Trivia
- Haides is named after Hades, the Greek god of the Underworld, a world where souls of the deceased travel to after death, which the planet strongly resembles.
- Haides is the only planet on the selection HUD that isn't spherical.
